Neighborhood Watch Committee

Mission: We are a group of residents and concerned citizens working together to assist in ensuring the safety of our neighborhoods. Working as a liason between the public and the Police Department, to help prevent crimes, and maintain a level of security for our community. Establishing accountability, responsibility with equality to all residents.

Who can join? Anyone, our membership is open to the public. (We need people on every block).

Looking for: Block Captains, Block Organizers, Block Informers, and Block Patrols. Blocks can receive a certificate for 100% participation. The blocks that receive 4 certificates (one straight month) will be qualified to have a block party! (details pending).

Criteria for receiving Certificate:

A. Every household must receive an informational flyer
B. Vacant home liaison volunteer active.
C. At least 1 person from each home on your block must attend block club meeting
D. Every home on block participate in Light/Bright Program. (Turn on Porch Lights)
E. Every home must display a "WE CALL POLICE" sign (available at the Police Station)

Meetings are held every 2nd Monday of the month at the Fire Station, Located at 1804 222nd St at 7:00pm.

The next meeting will be on Monday August 11th.

The Neighborhood Watch supports the No Texting while driving pledge and the No Bullying campaign.
