David Hanks was first elected to the Sauk Village Board in April, 1999 and was re-elected for a second four-year term in April,
2003, as Village Trustee. His current Village Board assignment includes chairing the Economic Development Committee.
During his years on the Village Board David has also served as Commissioner on the Calumet Corridor Council, Route 30 Corridor
Council and the South Suburban Commuter Rail Corridor Sub-Committee.
David is also the Corporate Quality Supervisor for Fellowes Inc. in Itasca,
IL. He is responsible for new product development testing, incoming audits and Quality Lab personnel. David is a longtime
resident of Sauk Village and has served the community in his youth as a cadet on the Sauk Village Police Department, and later
as a Commissioner on the Zoning Board of Appeals. David is married to Linda and they have ten children (five boys and
five girls). David and Linda love living in Sauk Village and are excited to be part of a town that has so much to offer--great
quality of life, wonderful people, and many opportunities. David considers it an honor and privilege to serve the people
of Sauk Village in his role on the Village Board and encourages citizens to contact him regarding their concerns, suggestions,
and comments about the Village of Sauk Village.
