Kevin Weller was born in Chicago and moved with his family to Sauk Village in 1970. He attended Wagner, Strassburg, and Rickover
Junior High School. Upon his early graduation from Bloom Trail High School in the spring of 1986, he was given the opportunity
to work in the Public Works summer help program. He was hired as a fulltime employee in the summer of 1987. He worked his
way up from field worker to Assistant Director of Public Works in 2002. When Mike Wall retired in the summer of 06, Kevin
was promoted to his current position, as the Director of Public Works. He is in charge of five departments, twelve full time
and six part time employees. He met his future wife when they both attended Wagner Elementary School; they married in in the
spring of 1990 and are now raising three wonderful children together. Kevin has been a part of the community for 38 years
and hopes to spend many more years improving the town were he grew up.
