Sauk Village gets it. Your business (and our community) faces intense competition. With Indiana literally down the road and Will County nearby, Sauk Village has to and will continue to fight to keep businesses in town and attract quality businesses with the right mix of incentives.
For over 30 years — since the first TIF District was established — the Village has provided, as needed, incentives to businesses and developers. The Village of Sauk Village has successfully administered an economic development program that utilizes various incentives, including Tax Increment Financing and Cook County Class 8. The Village has several Tax Increment Finance (TIF) Districts (see map).
