Human Resources at Sauk Village

The Human Resources department at the Village of Sauk Village oversees recruitment, testing, selection, staff development, training, and the management of employee benefit programs, along with other related activities. Employee benefit programs cover health services, life insurance, supplemental voluntary short-term disability, pension programs, unemployment compensation, deferred income programs, vacation, sick leave, longevity, and holiday pay programs. The department is also tasked with administering Village personnel policies and procedures. Additionally, Human Resources handles litigations and negotiations related to collective bargaining agreements.

Additional responsibilities include administrative and management duties assigned to the office by the Village Manager.
